Kiraku Tei
A Collection of Private Homes in Japan, Open to Only a Few

Kiraku Tei was born from a simple idea: a home reflecting the individuality and story of its owner.

Each residence is a second home, carefully shaped by the life of its owner. Their worldview and values quietly inhabit every detail.

As each owner differs, so too does each home. Some center around food and gathering. Others around craft, brewing, or solitude. No two Kiraku Tei are alike.

When the owner is away, the home is entrusted to a small number of guests. Those who stay settle into its rhythm, not as visitors, but as if living within the neighborhood itself.

A Home Centered on Food. A Residence in Kyoto.

Tucked along a quiet lane in Ishibe Koji, Higashiyama, Kyoto, stands a single private home.
Shaped by an owner devoted to food, a refined culinary sensibility is felt throughout. A fully equipped kitchen and counter designed to welcome a private chef, together with a sunken tatami dining room, invite long, unhurried meals.
